I have been teaching high school reading for five years. Prior to that, I worked as an elementary school teacher in grades K-2. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education before returning to school to complete an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from UCF. My plan has always been to teach in other countries. Traveling is a passion of mine and although there is only one country on my passport, we intend to start sailing the world as a family in the near future on our sailboat. In addition to teaching reading, and catching up on my long list of Kindle books, drawing and photography are my passions and whenever I can, I try to incorporate the arts into my lessons.
